The 4-Step Universal Download Process
Copy the Public Instagram Link
Open the Instagram app on your smartphone or go to instagram.com in any web browser. Locate the public video, Reel, photo, or carousel post you wish to save. Tap the Share icon (paper airplane) or the Three Dots (...) and select Copy Link.
Paste Link into InstaSave
Navigate to InstaSave. Paste the copied Instagram URL into the input field or click our convenient Paste button to insert the link directly from your clipboard with a single click.
Analyze & Preview Media
Click the Download button. Our system extracts the public stream metadata in milliseconds without requiring any account login. A clear media preview will appear showing the creator's username, post title, and available formats.
Save Directly to Your Device
Click your preferred download button (e.g., Download Video (HD MP4), Download Full Photo (HD JPG), or ⚡ Download All (ZIP Archive) for multi-slide posts). The file will be transferred directly to your device storage.
Platform-Specific Tips & Instructions
iPhone & iPad (iOS Safari)
On Apple devices running iOS 13 or newer, Safari includes a native download manager:
- When prompted with "Do you want to download this file?", tap Download.
- Tap the blue download circle (arrow pointing down) in Safari's address bar.
- Tap the downloaded MP4 file to open it in preview.
- Tap the Share button (box with upward arrow) in the lower-left corner and tap "Save Video" to move the video directly into your Apple Photos Camera Roll.
Android (Google Chrome & Samsung Internet)
On Android smartphones and tablets: Open Chrome, paste the Instagram URL, and tap Download. The file will be saved directly into your device's Downloads directory and will immediately be visible in Google Photos, Samsung Gallery, or your preferred media player.
Windows PC & macOS Desktops
Desktop users can easily copy links directly from the browser URL bar while browsing Instagram on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. When downloading, files are placed into your computer's standard Downloads folder.
